Our department offers diverse, interdisciplinary, and innovative education in sociology. We are committed to creating a vibrant and supportive learning environment, aimed at training a new generation of talent with solid academic grounding, critical thinking, forward-looking insights, and the ability to engage effectively in teamwork. Our department also strives to develop novel sociological research, investigating fundamental social concerns and advancing in-depth development of research methods, including social statistics, surveys, fieldwork, in-depth interviews, historical institutionalism, comparative methods, and data analysis. We focus on Taiwanese, East Asian, and global social issues, covering social stratification, international migration, deliberative democracy, environmental sustainability, gender diversity, social movements, technological controversies, social innovation, and changing families, among others. We welcome everyone to the NTU Department of Sociology for an in-depth exploration of society.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
