長年推動審議民主的工作，並且參與地方公民社會的實踐工作，持續關注台灣社會組織基礎設施的布建。目前研究的議題為台灣民主的歷史發展路徑和作用關鍵因素。此外，協助推動國科會科技民主與社會研究中心，探討新興科技運作的政治經濟基礎，以及新興科技與民主防禦、國家安全、社會公平正義、產業自主和技術主權的關聯性。最後，推動台灣社會實踐和社會創新生態體系的建立，連結來自不同管道的經濟、人力、空間和技術資源形成一個相互貫穿且能夠持續運作的系統，深化台灣地方社會的韌性和公共參與的能量。
